I’ve been working through some quantum physics over the last few months and understood what I was working through, but was never able to articulate in a simple way to anyone exactly what it is I’m working through (or learning if you want) Only articulate bits and pieces and in the end confuse myself even more than the person I’m trying to explain it to.
Einstein used to say, making things more complicated is easy, it takes a true genius to explain physics to your grandmother.
Taking into account that I don’t have a physics background, I attempted to explain the principles behind mass-time and space-time to a good friend who also doesn’t have a background in physics, while explaining these concepts, I was able to visualize these concepts (if you’re a quantum physics expert, spot the irony in that statement) and explain these concepts based on the visualizations and even grasp the concepts better after bringing it down to a level where normal people can understand it. Instead of grabbing bits and pieces from everywhere, I was able to see the whole picture and every piece in its context which makes it easier to systematically explain complex concepts.
The point is, I feel smarter based on what Einstein said and whether the daily brain-syncing had anything to do with this, I don’t know, but it can’t all just be coincidence.
