I am officially addicted to the exotic taste of goji berries!
Yesterday while walking around in the shopping centre looking around for new suppliers of organic fruit and vegetables, I came across a small shop stocking all sorts of interesting products, one of which is the infamous goji berries. Without hesitating, I grabbed a 200g packet (just to quell my curiosity) seeing as I’ve been looking for goji berries everywhere and just never managed to find a place stocking it. While standing in the queue to pay for the raw cacao powder, some olive oil and the goji berries, the woman in front of me turned around and was going on about my eyes being so clear and bright and wanted to know what I eat etc. Initially I thought people were crazy when they over reacted about my eyes being so clear and bright (not even sure what they mean by that anyway), but to cut a long story short, this is probably the third time it has happened now, so I’m getting used to people wanting to look into my eyes and freak out about it being bright and clear and what have you. I gave my contact details out and it seems I’ll be starting my own organization VA (Vegan Anonymous) in the near future so people can come to meetings and stand up and say: “Hallo, my name is xxx and I’m a vegetarian / vegan”.

Back to some paranormal experiences (not that the above mentioned experience was that normal to begin with)

Yesterday at about 15h00 I was sitting next to a large table while discussing software development related things when something suddenly caught my left eye’s attention. At the back of the room is a long row of lights, all switched off. They are all either on or off at the same time, they can’t be switched on individually. One of the lights slightly left to the middle of the row of lights suddenly gave a quick flicker and then died again. A little while later it gave another quick flicker and died again. I started laughing through my nose (trying not to disturb the meeting) when suddenly it started flickering brighter and brighter and faster and faster until it also caught the attention of the person sitting right under it. Then it gave an extra bright flash and died again. The person sitting under it had a “wtf?” expression on his face and and was rubbing his head with his one hand in confusion. Whether there was water in the roof causing a short circuit somewhere, or something else causing a short circuit, I don’t know …

Since somebody else also saw the single light (which should have been off) giving a lightshow and going haywire, I can at least confirm that I’m not seeing stuff (yet).
